I remember watching Despicable Me 4 during last year's summer camp with the kids at the movie theater.

The scene that particularly impressed me was the scene where the main character's daughters first participated in a martial arts class, and it was a scene meant to make you laugh, but it was a scene that made me think a lot.

Sensei O'Sullivan, the karate instructor in Despicable Me 4, had a few issues.

He's extremely intense and demanding, pushing his students too hard. Especially when his new student, the little sister, couldn't introduce herself well because she was scared, he punished her.

He appeared to be emotionally unstable, yelling and throwing tantrums when things didn't go his way. He threatened his students with weapons and breaking, also with his punches and kicks.

He said to one of his students, "You should cut your hair," and he also said, "You look like a sheep dog."

By depicting the Sensei with an unmanaged lower abdomen, I wondered if the Sensei himself was teaching without taking care of himself.ย

Rather than just laughing it off, I thought about how we can educate our children well.ย

It should not be a place where children are just scolded, but a place where they can realize their wonderful self and at the same time be a place where they learn to be polite and live like human beings.ย

It's always difficult to satisfy two opposites. Children should have fun, but they must also exercise and learn restraint, so today our instructors and I hope to provide a more in-depth education through the data we have accumulated so far.ย

This Saturday, we will also hold a New Year's staff meeting to communicate to have a better year, 2025.

Thank you for trusting and working with us.ย

Happy New Year!
