โI love Teakwondo. It taught my daughter a lot of things, and I love the fact that she has the best teacher, Master Woo. He is great with all the kids. And you can see he really loves his job.โ

"Five and a half years ago at the playground Keegan spotted a bunch of kids from a taekwondo summer camp. Curious as ever, he went over and talked to them and thus began our journey with taekwondo. Our family has been changed in countless positive ways by taekwondo. Most of the friends we've made after we moved were made through our involvement with taekwondo and now they're like family. My kids have learned lessons in perseverance, self-control, respect, kindness, hard work and resilience."

“Success is neither magical nor mysterious. It’s the natural consequence of consistently applying the basic fundamentals.” – Warren Buffett
When I first started working in the U.S., life was extremely tight. No matter how much I saved, it felt impossible to build up a cushion. Whenever my car broke down or I got sick, unexpected expenses appeared, and I felt like I couldn’t even afford to get sick.
In those moments I asked myself: “If I keep living like this, what will the future look like for my wife and me?” After much worry and reflection, I discovered the U.S. stock market—and through it, I discovered Warren Buffett.
Buffett teaches us that success doesn’t come from luck or miracles but from conviction, patience, and consistent action. This principle applies not only to investing but to every aspect of life.
Since then, I’ve been reading books regularly, exercising consistently, and investing steadily. My life has found structure and rhythm. Far from being painful, it has become more fulfilling and enjoyable.
It’s the same for Taekwondo students. Many want to win medals, achieve high ranks, and test their abilities. But if you don’t show up, if you don’t train consistently, hoping for luck alone is unrealistic. The same is true for getting into a good university or landing a dream job Without consistent effort, luck rarely lasts.
As Warren Buffett emphasizes, “Excellence is not a miracle; it’s the product of principles, consistency, and long-term thinking.” By investing in understandable businesses, repeating simple actions diligently, and sticking to principles, extraordinary results emerge naturally.
Success is the natural consequence of consistently applying the fundamentals.
I hope all our students live successful lives. If you hold onto your beliefs, keep working steadily, and think long-term, I’m confident you’ll turn your dreams into reality.
Small habits, practiced daily, create extraordinary outcomes. Today’s consistency becomes tomorrow’s greatness.
