"Five and a half years ago at the playground Keegan spotted a bunch of kids from a taekwondo summer camp. Curious as ever, he went over and talked to them and thus began our journey with taekwondo. Our family has been changed in countless positive ways by taekwondo. Most of the friends we've made after we moved were made through our involvement with taekwondo and now they're like family. My kids have learned lessons in perseverance, self-control, respect, kindness, hard work and resilience."

This Thanksgiving, we pause to reflect on what makes our dojang more than just a place to train—it's a community built on respect, perseverance, and growth.
We're grateful for every student who steps onto the mat with courage, whether it's their first day or their thousandth. Each kick, each form, each moment of pushing past limits reminds us why we do what we do. We're thankful for parents who trust us with their children's development, supporting them through every belt test and challenge. We're grateful for the black belts who lead by example, showing that mastery is a journey, not a destination.
In Taekwondo, we bow to show respect. Today, we bow in gratitude—to our instructors, our students, and everyone who makes our dojang family strong.
This Thanksgiving, we're reminded that the most powerful technique isn't a kick or a punch—it's gratitude. It fuels our spirit and strengthens our bonds.
Happy Thanksgiving from our dojang to yours!
