Some students come into the studio carrying something. Pictures of their own work, awards, etc.ย

We received a text message.ย

"Master Woo, my child helped walk the dog today, sir."

"My child practiced Taekwondo hard, sir."

They feel rewarded by small achievements and take actions that earn them more praise.

For children, small habits include new behaviors that are sometimes difficult. Playing with tablets or games is the most fun, and it is easy to do a fun habit, but we want to develop good small habits regardless of the difficulty. This can keep children happy.

We greet the dojang with a loud voice.ย

"Hello, Sir" or "Hello, Ma'am"

Parents also help their children follow along by participating in the greetings.

The feedback we receive from their schools about the children who have been doing Taekwondo for a long time is that they are polite and set an example for other students.ย

These are the things we teach our children in our education. It is courtesy, discipline, and an attitude of being considerate of others and leading by example.ย

By practicing such habits repeatedly, you see yourself changing, receive praise, and change others as well.ย

If you do that, your child may become a leading figure in changing the world.
