As July 7th approaches, we celebrate a meaningful milestone.

Our 4th anniversary. Over the past four years we’ve faced not only many challenges, but also countless moments of growth, transformation, and joy. What has kept us going is our belief in the power of love, community, and the unique spirit of Taekwondo.

Some time ago, I came across a story from BISOP about a “Pink Penguin.” Though it’s been a while since I read it, that message still resonates with me deeply.

In a world where things often look the same and martial arts schools can appear similar on the surface, I’ve always aimed to build something different:
A dojang that stands out not because it's flashy, but because it’s built on purpose and heart.

Our goal was never to be the biggest, only the most meaningful.

What truly sets us apart is simple but powerful: Love.

Here, every student is the main character in their journey.
Everyone is welcomed. Everyone belongs.

On the outside of our building, we proudly display a banner that reads:

"With one Taekwondo, one child, and one Master we can change the world."
This message isn't just for decoration. It’s a declaration of our belief:

That even the smallest connection between a student and their master can ripple outward and make a difference in the world.

We make it a priority to deeply understand each student. We observe their temperament, their unique strengths, and their needs.
We respond with personal guidance and tailored support.
Rather than simply correcting weaknesses, we help students use their strengths to lift themselves higher.

Every six months, we conduct physical evaluations and give each family a detailed progress report.

We don’t just measure strength or speed we celebrate growth, character, and perseverance.

My dream has always been to create more than just a place to train.

I want our dojang to be a second home, a place where students feel safe, seen, and valued.

From the outside, we might seem like just another school.
But inside, we’re something different. Maybe even a Pink Penguin.

Thank you to every student, every parent, and every person who has walked through our doors.

Here’s to many more years of courage, kindness, and change. One kick, one heart, one child at a time.

With deep gratitude,

Master Woo ๐Ÿฅ‹๐Ÿ’–
